International migrations is a topical issue. GRDI IDE gathers scholars specialised in economic analysis of migrations and monetary transfers for a workshop in Clermont-Ferrand.
The objective was to examine the financial effects of migrations not only on the home country but also on the host country. Indeed, private unilateral transfers are the second most important financial flows towards developing countries, after the Foreign Direct Investments (FDI)
